These forums were created to allow our readers to ask direct questions of the site's main authors: Dr. Gregory Mavrides and Headmaster Ken.

In a manner of speaking, this service is provided to prospective and current forum teachers as an "anti-forum" in that readers can ask for and receive professional advice and engage in a dialog with named authors without receiving a cacophony of anonymous opinions.

It is understood that questions submitted to these forums are being specifically addressed to the Guide's principal authors. It is assumed that readers who submit questions here are not seeking a diversity of viewpoints: If they were, they would have posted their questions on an open public anonymous forum.

The purpose of these Q&A Forums is clarity, consistency, and accountability, not open discussion and debate. While we will very likely publish replies that offer additional useful and factual information, we will generally not publish opinions, disagreements, or "corrections" based on personal experience, hearsay, and conjecture.
